That’s a mighty JUDGMENTAL tone for you to take, isn’t it, Mr. Morris?

I, for 1, ALWAYS KNEW that PART of this was indeed Michael’s fault. (& Trust me, I am a lifelong long fan– I put 40 years of my life into this man… & I’m only 42).

There’s a part of me that WISHES I had been there… that I had known him personally & was his friend. As such, I would’ve been there to try to make him see the light. I would’ve said, “No, Michael… you & Jordy can’t hang out today. The kid needs to go to his school graduation dance. No, Michael, you can’t have Jordy & his family over @ Neverland, for the entire weekend. That weekend has been set aside for his father, Evan. He has visitation rights. And YOU are the 1 who is going to tell him these things because he will LISTEN to you. If you are truly his friend, you will sacrifice your wants & GIVE him what HE NEEDS.” If he had had SOME1 in his life who could make him see the other side of things & could explain it to him in a rational yet childlike manner, ALL OF THIS could’ve been avoided.

But Michael, did not have that. All he had was a bunch of enablers who gave him WHAT HE WANTED & NOT WHAT HE NEEDED. That’s why his life was so messed up.

Looking back on the events of his life that made his & the world around him go in to an utter tail spin, I knew that Michael should have @ least put some better thought in it. Some of the decisions he made could have changed the course of his life & he could’ve escaped the total ruin of the last 15+ years. But that is not how Michael thought. For some aspects of his life, he thought like a child, because for some aspects of his life, he WAS 1. & Children don’t think about taking responsibility for their actions. It wasn’t until he went into rehab that he started to take some responsibility. His therapist made him see that. He started the ultra slow process of growing up. But old habits do die hard.

But responsibility aside this was NOT completely of his making. This is ALSO about trusting the wrong people & the greed locked inside of their hearts. Don’t paint Evan as a sad victim because of the cancer & the suicide. Yes, I do feel bad for him & his family, especially Jordy. NO1 deserves cancer. & NO1 should die @ their own hand. (I lost a loved 1 to suicide which is the WORST kind of emotional pain that any1 could ever experience. I, TRULY feel sorrow for The Chandler Family.)

But let’s look @ Evan’s own culpability, shall we? This is a man who saw “my kid’s RICH eccentric playmate”. He was always trying to talk Michael into some financial movie project because he wrote the film (w/ a little help from Jordy) “Robin Hood: Men In Tights”. Michael wasn’t really interested. & When that didn’t work, he suddenly became jealous of Michael, because Michael was becoming more of a father figure to this kid than he was. The seeds of jealous were planted. & After that, everything started to snowball– the pulled tooth, the so-called truth serum”, the lies, the accusations, the hunt for the money, etc., etc., etc.

(Also, on a very strange side note: If Evan TRULY felt that Michael hurt his son, why did HE @ their very last meeting HUG MIchael when they greeted each other? Hug the man who molested my child??? Oh yeah, I’m going to hug you alright… I’m going to hug your neck. Read J. Randy Taraborrelli’s book to learn more.)

The only thing I can say in Evan’s defense is that MAYBE, once Michael became a father in his own right, MAYBE, he finally saw the light. MAYBE as a father, he finally saw Evan’s point of view. I don’t think ANY PARENT likes the thought of being replaced by some1 else in their children’s lives, divorce or no, which IS what Evan thought. He just went about it in the wrong way. Michael, who was for all intent purposes a mere stranger, a BIGGER influence on Jordy more so than his own father AND EVEN his step-father, David! (But can any1 blame, Jordy? It IS MJ, after all…)

Yes, Michael was guilty of making bad decisions. But he made those decisions w/ a naive albeit spoiled rich child’s heart. What’s Evan’s excuse?
